Naturally Thick Hair
Great Lengths' philosophy is to
remedy the lack of thick hair in a way that is as simple as dying your hair if you
want to change its color. People who do not have a lot of hair generally have very
fine hair at the same time. The Great Lengths' program offers various thickness of
natural strands for attachment to existing hair. Very fine strands of hair are applied
in areas where other hair systems cannot be used due to difficulty disguising the
point of attachment. Because the polymer bonds we use are the same color as the hair
strands, the point of attachment is virtually invisible! The result is thick hair that
looks totally natural and is so durable you can wash it, brush it, and style it any
way you want to.
Gentle Attachments
Great Lengths' method is unique: no other
system treats your hair in such a gentle way. Each pre-bonded strand is attached using a
high-tech applicator which softens the polymer at the top of the strand so that it can be
molded easily to the clients own hair. The molecular composition of the polymer is so
similar to that of keratin protein in human hair, the integrity of the client's hair is
never compromised. The need for traditional glues and hot waxes, which are often damaging
to a client's hair, is eliminated. The polymer meshes with the individual hair strands
rather than merely coating the surface of the natural hair. The resultant bond is
extremely resilient, allowing strands that will withstand the most vigorous lifestyles.
Methods
Of course you wonder how we attach Great
Lengths strands to your own hair. While others use techniques like welding, waxing, gluing
or knotting, which strain and very often damage your hair to a high degree, Great Lengths
is based on a much more gentle principle: modulating. We have created an extremely
high tech method of attachment between the Great Lengths strand and your own
hair. This point of attachment is composed of polymer chains whose molecular structure is
very similar to that of human hair. It is activated by our Great Lengths applicator and
joins the Great Lengths strand with your own hair in this way. This attachment is durable
and will last indefinitely. It can, however, be easily removed by an expert!
